Who am I? Good question! I'll try to give a simple answer to a very complex question.
Tige ? Tiger ? Whatever!
My nickname comes from a combination of things, starting with my seven, yes, seven sisters! At a much younger age I had energy that got me labeled as a Tiger. The name got shortened to Tige over the years, and it stuck. Actually three out of four Russell's in my family lineage had or have nicknames. Call me what you want, but remember to call me!
I'm a 50-somthing-year-old Real Estate Broker who has been practicing for 25+ years now. I am very happily married to Colleen, for 35 years and have a wonderful son, Rhett, daughter-in-law Liz and gorgeous granddaughter Violet May Reader, born August 2003 along with the newest addition to my family, Christian Michael Reader July 2005.
Colleen and I reside in Milford in a vintage Victorian home that I grew up in! We have been in the restoration process since we moved in, and sometimes I feel like we live in a museum. I love the home and the memories. It's very comfortable for me.
Growing up in Milford and spending almost all of my life here, has been a great experience. To get to know an area and place this well has a real good feeling to it. I have a large family that extends throughout the Milford and surrounding communities and I am fairly active in the business community and the local Presbyterian Church.
I have a passion for music, motorcycles and travel.
I have worn many hats in my real estate career (Agent, Broker, Owner, Developer, Manager) and happily settled on doing what I do best; listing and selling real estate! I hold several designations and have always been pro-education when it comes to my career. I do believe the most important quality I bring to the transaction is experience, both with people and with the process, itself. Experience is a great teacher. I hope we can learn together!
